قابلیتADDDC که بر روی Memory های سرورهای G10

قابلیتADDDC که بر روی Memory های سرورهای G10 وجود دارد:
این تکنولوژی بر روی سرورهای G10 معرفی شده است و Smart Memory ها آنرا Support می کنند و جایگزین قابلیت DDDC می باشند که روی سرورهای G8 معرفی گردیده است. در حالت DDDC ، اگر یک DRAM و یا 2 عدد DRAMدچار مشکل شود سیستم ادامه کار خود را انجام می دهد ولی Lockstep mode فعال می شود و پهنای باند Memoryها 50 درصد خواهد شد و در نتیجه Performance کاهش پیدا می کند.
حال در ADDDC اگر یک DRAM دچار مشکل گردد فقط همان DRAM وارد Lockstep mode می شود و بقیه RAM ها با همان Performance قبلی ادامه کار خود را انجام خواهند داد و کارایی سیستم افت نخواهد داشت.

HC 250

سیستمسیستم HC 250 مناسب برای راه اندازی مجازی سازی در محیط های کوچک و متوسط می باشد و پلی می باشد برای راه اندازی SDS درون سازمان ها، روی این سیستم VMware Vsphere 5.6 و یا 6 بصورت Built in وجود دارد. روی این سیستم سرورهای Apollo قرار دارد که مدل XL 170 می باشند و روی آنها از پردازنده های E5-2600 قراردارد. در واقع اگر بخواهیم از 4 سرور DL380 استفاده کنیم نیاز به 8 یونیت فضا درون رک خواهیم داشت حال آنکه در صورت استفاده از این سیستم فقط نیاز به 2 بونیت خواهیم داشت و در واقع باعث کاهش فضا و در نتیجه کاهش هزینه خواهد شد. با توجه به اینکه روی این سیستم StoreVirtual VSA قرار دارد می توان SDS را پیاده سازی نمود و از قابلیت Network RAID استفاده کرد. بدین معنی که RAID بین چندین دستگاه مختلف پیاده خواهد شد. همچنین این سیستم قابلیت Multi System HA را نیز پوشش می دهد و می توان یکدستگاه را در سایت دیگری قرارداد تا چنانچه یک سیستم دچار مشکل شود سیستم دیگر در سایت دیگر ادامه کار را انجام خواهد داد. همچنین این سیستم قابلیتAdaptive Optimization و Remote Copy را نیز پوشش می دهد که در پست های بعدی این قابلیت ها توضیح داده خواهد شد. روی هر سرور که در این سیستم قرار می گیرد می توان 512 گیگا بایت RAM قرار داد و کارتهای شبکه نیز می تواند 10 گیگا بیت بر ثانیه باشد. در صورتیکه نیاز به GPU داشته باشیم می توانیم روی این سیستم از XL190استفاده کنیم.

SSD Smart Path

قابلیت 

قابلیت SSD Smart Path
همانطور که می دانیم در حالت نرمال زمانیکه می خواهیم اطلاعاتی را از روی دیسک بخوانیم وی یا بنویسیم سیستم عامل دستور را به Raid controller می دهد و سپس درون این سخت افزار firmware نیز پردازش انجام می دهد و سپس دستور خواندن و نوشتن تحویل دیسک ها می شود. حال اگر بخواهیم سرعت افزایش یابد با استفاده از قابلیت Smart Path و فعال سازی آن برای دیسک های SSD قسمتی که Firmwareپردازش انجام می دهد Bypass می شود و این عمل باعث افزایش Performance و کم شدن Latency خواهد شد.
این قابلیت هنگام خواندن اطلاعات برای تمامی RAID ها کار می کند ولی هنگام نوشتن فقط برای RAID 0 کار می کند.
لازم به توضیح می باشد این تکنولوژی از سرورهای G8 به بعد کار می کند.
نحوه عملکرد آن در پست بعدی نشان داده شده است.
